Live Honey Bees

At this time, 5280 Apiaries does not ship nucleus hives or live honey bees through mail carriers.

All nucs are:

Built and managed by us
Delivered to scheduled regional pickup locations
Released only when colonies meet health and strength standards

Pickup windows and locations are listed on each product page and confirmed as conditions allow.

Because honey bees are living livestock, shipping through standard carriers is not offered. 5280 Apiaries focuses on local, climate-adapted bees. For this reason, we prioritize in-person pickup over commercial shipping.

Regional Delivery (When Available)

Limited regional delivery may be available depending on season, weather, and logistics.
If delivery is offered, details will be arranged directly with the customer prior to fulfillment.

Non-Live Products

Items such as honey, wax, or other hive products may be shipped when available.
Shipping timelines vary depending on season and inventory and will be communicated during checkout.
